Starlink Black Friday 2025: every sourced offer in one dated table

Starlink’s Black Friday 2025 came early and lasted long. From Nov 11, 2025, starlink.com sold the Mini for $229 and the Standard kit for $279 with a Roam plan, and those prices ran until Jan 19, 2026. Home Depot and Walmart sold kits at the same prices, give or take a dollar, and a $40/mo Residential plan appeared briefly in limited areas. Every one of these offers has ended. Below is each one with its dates and source, and what it means if you’re shopping now.

Every sourced offer, in one table

Started	Seller	Item	Price	Condition	Ended
Nov 10, 2025	starlink.com	Residential 100 Mbps plan	$40/mo	Limited locations	Removed by Dec 12, 2025
Nov 11, 2025	starlink.com	Mini	$229	None stated	Jan 19, 2026 (replaced by $199)
Nov 11, 2025	starlink.com	Standard kit	$279	A Roam plan	Jan 19, 2026
By Nov 11, 2025	Walmart	Mini	$230	None stated	After Black Friday 2025
By Nov 17, 2025	Home Depot	Standard kit	$279	Service ordered separately	After Black Friday 2025
By Nov 17, 2025	Home Depot	Mini	$229	None stated	After Black Friday 2025

Black Friday itself was Nov 28, 2025. “By” dates are the first date a source showed the price; the offer may have started a day or two earlier. Our sources don’t give exact end dates for the store prices, so the table says “after Black Friday 2025” rather than inventing one. All six rows sit struck through in our deals log and on the Black Friday page.

starlink.com’s holiday prices

RV Mobile Internet reported the holiday prices on Nov 11, 2025: $229 for the Mini and $279 for the Standard kit. The Standard price came with a condition: it applied with a Roam plan, Starlink’s portable service, rather than a Residential plan. satelliteinternet.com confirmed the $229 Mini on Nov 25, 2025.

These were not one-day doorbusters. They ran for about ten weeks, from Nov 11, 2025 to Jan 19, 2026, which covers Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the whole December gift season. On Jan 20, 2026 the Mini dropped further, to $199 against a $249 list price, so the end of the holiday price wasn’t a price increase for the Mini; it was another cut.

The $40 plan: a service deal, not a hardware deal

Telecompetitor reported on Nov 10, 2025 that Starlink had added a $40/mo Residential 100 Mbps plan in limited locations. PCMag reported its removal on Dec 12, 2025. It lasted about a month and was pulled where capacity filled.

That pattern repeats across our log: service-price promos are address-based, show up only at starlink.com’s checkout for certain addresses, and can end without notice. If you saw this plan in a headline and not at your checkout, it wasn’t an error; your address wasn’t in the offer. Why a deal isn’t at your checkout explains how regional offers work.

Home Depot and Walmart

Home Depot had the Standard kit at $279 and the Mini at $229 by Nov 17, 2025, per SlashGear. Those are the deepest Home Depot prices we have on record, and they matched starlink.com’s holiday prices that week rather than beating them. One difference: starlink.com’s $279 Standard price required a Roam plan, while Home Depot’s sale price was for the kit alone, with service ordered separately on starlink.com (where you could pick any plan your address supports).

Walmart had the Mini at $230 by Nov 11, 2025, per Yahoo Tech, the same day starlink.com’s $229 began. A dollar’s difference.

We have no sourced Black Friday 2025 rows for Best Buy or Costco. That means no source we trust reported one, not that none existed.

The store vs starlink.com question, last season

With prices matched, the deciding lines were the ones a price tag doesn’t show:

• The referral free month. A first-time customer ordering on starlink.com could get one month of service through a referral link; a Home Depot or Walmart kit never qualifies.
• The plan condition. starlink.com’s $279 Standard price needed a Roam plan. If you wanted Residential service, Home Depot’s $279 kit was the way to get that price.
• Returns. starlink.com’s 30 days against each store’s own policy. Holiday gift receipts help with store returns, but check the window.

So for a first-time customer who wanted a Mini, starlink.com was the better buy at the same $229. For someone who wanted a Standard kit on a Residential plan at $279, Home Depot was the only sourced way to get that price.

How Black Friday 2025 compares with 2024

In 2024, starlink.com’s Black Friday sale cut the Mini to $449, 25% off its $599 list price, ending Dec 8, 2024 (Tesla North). A year later the holiday Mini was $229. By Oct 2, 2026 the everyday “starts at” price was $149.

The Mini’s whole history moves in one direction: down, in steps. The Standard kit’s doesn’t: its list price is $349 (since Oct 2024), with sales below it ($175 in Aug 2025, $89 in low-demand areas from Sep 2025, $279 in holiday 2025) that ended. The Mini’s full price history and the price-drop chart have every point.

What last year tells you about this year

What the record shows:

• Holiday pricing started well before Black Friday. Nov 10 and 11 in 2025. If Starlink repeats the pattern, the first holiday prices could appear in early or mid-November, not on the day itself.
• Store sales matched starlink.com. Neither Home Depot nor Walmart beat starlink.com’s holiday price in our sources.
• Service promos were short and regional. The $40 plan lasted about a month.
• The Mini’s holiday price was not its low point. It fell further in January.

What it doesn’t show: whether there will be a 2026 holiday sale, what it would be, or whether today’s $149 Mini price will move. We don’t predict prices. As of Oct 6, 2026, nothing has been announced. If you’re deciding whether to buy a Mini now or wait, our decision table lays out the trade-off honestly.

Using last year’s table to shop this November

If you plan to buy during the 2026 holiday season, last year’s rows are a useful yardstick, as long as you use them the right way.

1. Write down today’s price first. On Oct 5, 2026 that was from $149 for the Mini and $349 for the Standard kit on starlink.com. Any holiday offer has to beat these, not last year’s prices.
2. Check the condition, not just the number. Last year’s $279 Standard kit on starlink.com needed a Roam plan. A future offer might need a plan, a commitment, or a specific address.
3. Compare the same item. A “Mini bundle” at a store with extra cables isn’t the same as a bare Mini kit.
4. Check starlink.com and at least one store on the same day. Last year, store sale prices followed starlink.com within days. Comparing on different days can mislead you.
5. Keep the return window in mind. If you buy early and a lower price appears inside the window, the return windows guide tells you what each seller allows. Price adjustments are each store’s own call; Starlink doesn’t publish a price-adjustment policy we could source.

Gift buying: what last season showed

Most of last season’s offers overlapped the December gift window, which matters if you’re buying for someone else:

• The gift recipient’s address sets their plan. Plan price, regional offers and any demand surcharge follow the service address, so a deal you see at your address may not exist at theirs.
• The referral month follows the account, not the box. If the recipient has never had Starlink, a store kit means they can’t get the free month; ordering on starlink.com themselves keeps that option.
• Gift receipts matter more for store kits. Starlink’s 30-day return is tied to the order on starlink.com. A store’s gift receipt follows the store’s policy and window.

Common mistakes when reading old Black Friday deals

• Treating a 2025 article as current. Search results still surface “Starlink Mini $229 Black Friday” pages. That price has ended, and the Mini is cheaper now.
• Missing the plan condition. The $279 Standard kit on starlink.com needed a Roam plan.
• Assuming a store sale is lower. Last season it wasn’t.
• Expecting a regional service promo at your address. The $40 plan was in limited locations only.

What we don’t know

• Exact end dates for the Home Depot and Walmart prices.
• Whether Best Buy or Costco ran Starlink sales in November 2025.
• Which addresses got the $40 plan.
