Starlink price drops, dated
Kit prices have fallen a long way since launch, in steps and in short sales. Each point below has a source and a date; sales are marked as sales so they don't read as the everyday price.

Service prices went the other way
Monthly plans rose in May 2026 (Residential 100 Mbps to $55/mo, Max to $130/mo). Short regional service promos ($39, $35 and $29 a month in spring 2026) were in the deals log; all have ended.
How to catch the next drop
- Follow the deal news feed: we post only sourced changes.
- If you order and the price drops within 30 days, the return window is your price protection: a full hardware refund if the kit comes back undamaged within 30 days.
- Promos have clustered in spring, late summer and November. That's a pattern, not a promise.
Questions people ask
Did the Starlink price drop?
The Mini did: it was cut to $149 on starlink.com on Oct 2, 2026, the lowest sourced Mini price. Monthly plan prices went up in May 2026, not down.
How often do Starlink prices drop?
Hardware sales and regional promos have come every few months since 2025: a $0 commitment kit (Apr 2025), a half-off kit (Aug 2025), an $89 regional kit (Sep 2025), holiday Mini pricing (Nov 2025), and Mini cuts in Jan, Jul and Oct 2026.
Will I get the lower price if I already bought?
Not automatically. Inside the 30-day return window, returning the kit and re-ordering is the only route we know of. Service-price promos are usually for new customers.
