What we collect

Anonymous counts of a few actions (for example "filter used" or "comparison used"), each with the page path and one short label. Our own counter sets no cookies, uses no identifiers and stores no IP address with an event. No ad pixels. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, our counter sends nothing.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help. It loads Google's gtag.js script from googletagmanager.com and sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_…, kept up to 2 years) so a returning browser can be recognized. Google receives the page address, the referring page, device and browser details, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn't log or store IP addresses). The action counts above are also sent to Google Analytics with a "detail" value holding the same short label, never anything you type.

Google signals and ad personalization are turned off: no advertising features, no remarketing. We don't sell the data.
Event data is kept for 14 months.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all.

What we never collect

Your address, name, email, account details or anything you type into the comparison tool. The tool runs on your device; numbers you choose to share go only in the link you copy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs to deliver the site.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13.

Do Not Track

Our own event counter honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Google Analytics honors Global Privacy Control: with it, Google Analytics isn't loaded. Do Not Track on its own stops our action counts (including the copies sent to Google Analytics) but not Google Analytics page views.
