Home Depot Black Friday 2025: Standard kit $279, Mini $229

What changed

SlashGear reported on Nov 17, 2025 that Home Depot had two Starlink kits on sale in its early Black Friday event: the Standard kit for $279 and the Mini for $229, alongside accessories. Each kit includes the dish, Wi-Fi router, cables and power supply.

Those prices matched starlink.com's own holiday prices from Nov 11, 2025, so the store wasn't cheaper than buying direct; it was the same price with store returns and store pickup.

Who it affects

Store shoppers who preferred Home Depot's return desk or gift cards.

Anyone counting on a referral free month: store-bought kits don't qualify for it, because Starlink credits only sign-ups made on starlink.com.

Anyone who bought at Home Depot before the sale: store price-adjustment rules, not Starlink's, decide whether you could claim the difference.

What you can do now

This is background. Home Depot listings we saw in search results on Oct 5, 2026 were $349 for the Standard kit ($299 after $50 off with a new Home Depot card) and $249 for the Mini; those are unconfirmed until a person checks the page.

Before buying at a store, run the price through our store vs starlink.com math, and read the Home Depot page for returns.

Keep your receipt and note the store's return deadline the day you buy. Starlink's 30-day return applies to orders from starlink.com; a store purchase follows the store's policy.

What hasn't changed

Service still has to be activated with Starlink, at Starlink's monthly prices, whichever store sells you the kit.

The kits on sale were the same Standard and Mini kits sold on starlink.com, with the same contents.

Context

Matching starlink.com was the pattern across stores last season: Walmart had the Mini at $230 on Nov 11, 2025. When a store and starlink.com charge the same, the free-month difference and the return window decide it.

The everyday Home Depot price we saw on Oct 5, 2026, $349 for the Standard kit, is well above last year's Black Friday price of $279. If last year's pattern repeats, holiday prices may start in mid-November, but nothing has been announced for 2026.

What we don't know yet

• Whether Home Depot will run a Starlink price for Black Friday 2026.
• The exact end date of the 2025 sale prices; the source didn't give one.
• Whether Home Depot's Black Friday prices were offered online, in stores, or both; the report described the listings without saying.
